Renew Your Mind 1

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye

may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2.


Today, I will like to reemphasize what you
learnt yesterday because if you are going to
grow, you must be committed to growth through
mind renewal and mental development.

This is important because if your thinking does not
change, you will experience the same results and
outcomes you had last year. What is going to
change your results this year is a change in your
thinking.

Do you know that the way you think actually
determines the way you feel? The way you think
also determines the choices you make, what your
desire, etc. Hence, if you want to change what you
desire, what you feel and the decisions you make,
you will have to first change your thinking. This is
because your passions are actually the function
and focus of your mind.

The Bible says in Romans 8:5, “For they that are
after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh …”
This reveals that your mindset determines your
desires. Therefore if you want to change your
desires, you need to change your mindset. The
truth is this, you are not a victim to anything, you
are only a victim to your own thoughts.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause my love to
abound more and more in knowledge and in all
judgment that I may approve things that are
excellent and remain sincere and without
offence till the day of Christ, in Jesus' Name.
Amen.
