“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: …”
Genesis 1:28(KJV)
From our opening scripture, we see that man was empowered by God for fruitfulness and multiplication, he was also commanded by God to replenish the earth and subdue it. To subdue means to prevail against. This means that God is saying to you that if any thing on earth comes against you, prevail against it.
I will like to remind you concerning the words of Jesus in Matthew 16:18, “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” These words from Jesus lets us know that He came to restore the authority the Father gave to us. In other words He came to restore to man the authority and dominion he lost through disobedience.(See Genesis 2:16-17)
Therefore the Bible says in Hebrews 2:14-15, “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
it is important you know that through the death of Jesus you were delivered from bondage to the fear of death. Therefore, believing in Jesus completely delivers you from every oppression and bondage, even as it completely restores your full rights to subdue all that rises against you and sets you in a place of authority and dominion on earth.
Prayer.
Dear Father I thank you for you have empowered me for fruitfulness and multiplication. I have been anointed with power and authority to subdue and to prevail against all the systems of this world and all the power of the devil in Jesus Name. Amen.
