“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-17.
Spiritual prosperity begins in the new birth. It continues when you receive the Holy Spirit. It concludes when your spirit gains the ascendancy over your soul and your body; this is referred to as spiritual growth.
When you are making progress spiritually, you are experiencing spiritual prosperity. When you are living consecrated to God you are experiencing spiritual prosperity according to Romans 12:1 (NIV), “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God — this is your spiritual act of worship.”
Experiencing progress in your spiritual life and changing from glory to glory by the spirit of the Lord is spiritual prosperity according to 2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Therefore, if you are not making progress in your spiritual life, you are not truly prosperous spiritually. It begins with being born again.
Prayer
Dear Father I ask that you fill me with the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. May the eyes of my understanding be enlightened to know the hope of the riches of the glorious inheritance of the saints in light, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
