Love is unconditional

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
1 John 4:11-12(KJV)

Love is the unconditional demonstration of good will towards another person irrespective of their behaviour towards you.

You know you are walking in love, when you are expressing an unconditional demonstration of good will towards others, irrespective of their behaviour towards you. You are bound by love to be good to everyone, as much as it concerns you.

Let your love for everyone; whether its your wife, your husband, your friend or your neighbour be unconditional, so that when they offend you, you will not change your attitude towards them.

This is the Bible way to love. Anyone can love others based on how they feel towards them, but, true love is more than a feeling; it is a demonstration of good will towards the undeserving. A.R Bernard said one time, “I love my wife, and the day my wife deserves my love, I don't love her.” That is an unconditional commitment to another.

Child of God, we have been called to love the unlovable. So, let God's love dominate and strengthen your heart to keep on loving, even when others turn away.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for as my love increases more and more according to the knowledge of your Word, let my heart be dominated and strengthened by your love, to remain committed to the well being of the undeserving. In Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Forgive just as God has forgiven you. Stop holding the offenses you are holding against others.
