Sow seeds of Love 1

“Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.”
Ephesians 5:1-2(MSG)


As a married man or woman, a single man or woman, a boy or a girl, or a child living at home with your parents, you can begin to sow seeds of love to those around you. When those around you offend you, do not react in the same way to also offend them as they did to you. But rather, see that situation as an opportunity to sow seeds of love into their lives.

For instance, as a married woman, maybe your husband said something unkind to you, and did not apologize before he left for work, don't react in bitterness by deciding not to cook for him because he offended you. No, go ahead and sow a seed of love by cooking for him as you would have done. When he returns, don't nag about the offense, but instead attend to his needs willingly and gladly.

Don't forget that when you give unconditional love to others, God will reward you for it.

Therefore, it doesn't matter who you are, you may be the one serving others, or you may be the boss. Please always use your position as an avenue to love and serve others.

CONFESSION
I declare that I am a child of love, I do not hate because God has given me the Spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind. Greater is He that is in me, than the hate in the world.
