Be merciful

"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."

Hebrews 8:12

There was a boy whose Father sold into sex slave when he was five years old. So homosexual men would come and have sex with him every day. It was in this way he grew up and he finally had HIV. He grew up having a strong hatred for homosexuals because they were the ones that gave him HIV.

As a result of this hatred he had for homosexuals, he started raping and killing them. If he did not kill them, he at least knew that they were going to live with HIV. In the process, he raped a US Marine who was an homosexual and he became HIV positive.

This US Marine who was raped finally heard the gospel and became born again. God delivered him from homosexuality after he got born again. He went on and got married, but he was still HIV positive. As a Christian, he started going for prison ministrations. He began to preach in prisons. One day, when he went to a particular prison, he saw the man that raped him and gave him HIV. So after preaching that day, he made sure he did not make an altar call because he wanted the man who raped him to go to hell. Then the same man who raped him asked him a question, "Can God forgive any sin?" Even though he felt like telling him that there were some sins that God could not forgive because of what he did to him, he made the man know that God could forgive any sin. He led him to Christ and he became born again.

God told the US Marine that if he did not forgive that man, his HIV would not be healed. When he forgave the man from his heart, his HIV went into remission and he was completely healed.

Dear Father, I choose to forgive and forget all the wrongs and trespasses against me. I ask that your love and peace fill my heart and mind in Jesus Name. Amen.
