He Came To Fulfil Prophecy 8

“Above all else, however, remember that none of us
can explain by ourselves a prophecy in the

Scriptures. For no prophetic message ever came just
from the human will, but people were under the
control of the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message
that came from God.”
2 Peter 1:20-21 (GNT)

The vicarious death of Jesus was prophesied
by the prophets thousands of years before he came 
and to prove that it was from the
Lord, Jesus fulfilled every word written concerning
his death and the kind of death he died validating
the scriptures.

It was written concerning Jesus, “For He shall grow
up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out
of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And
when we see Him, There is no beauty that we
should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by
men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was
despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has 
borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we
esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and
afflicted. But He was wounded for our
transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And
by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:2-5 (NKJV).

All these was fulfilled in the life of Jesus as 
seen in Matthew 27:39-44 revealing his divinity and
validating the accuracy of the scriptures.

Prayer.

Dear Father, I ask that You grant unto me a
revelation of the power of Christ that was
wrought in Jesus Christ when you raised Him
from the dead. May that power inundate my
whole being and cause me to walk in the
supernatural power of God over death, in Jesus'
Name. Amen.
