Live by God's ability.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:12-13(KJV)

In our opening scripture, we see Paul urging the Philippian Church who have been living in obedience to obey much more in His absence. Someone may ask, “How can someone obey you much more in your absence?” This is difficult for some to do because it is more easier for them to obey a leader when he is present with them than when he is absent. But Paul says He expects them to obey him much more in his absence, why? He tells us why in Philippians 2:13 saying, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” In other words, God will give you the desire and the ability to do what pleases Him.

Therefore, if what you desire to do in your heart came from God, expect Him to give you the ability to do it. For instance, if you desire to pray, expect the ability and don't struggle to pray.

Therefore, when you know that grace and God's favor is always flowing to you, your attitude to life will change.
You will begin to live your life with the mentality that you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.

PRAYER
