The glory that excels.

“And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.”
Deuteronomy 34:7(KJV)

Our opening scripture describes Moses who lived under the Law. The Bible says when he was a hundred and twenty years old,  his eyesight was still good and his body was strong. But that was under the law which the Bible calls the ministration of death. And yet Moses was able to enjoy such glory, how much more glory do you think we should enjoy in the new testament?

In 2 Corinthians 3:7-8 the Bible says, “But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?” We ought to expect a greater glory in the new testament which is the ministration of the Spirit.

The old testament is also called the ministration of condemnation. 2 Corinthians 3:9 says, “For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.”

The new testament is called the ministration of righteousness which exceeds beyond the glory of the old testament.

If you live under the message of condemnation it will cripple your faith and you will always have an expectation of evil in your heart. But as you yield yourself to the message of grace, and the ministry of the Spirit in your life always, you will be delivered from all condemnation and fear, and you will constantly expect the favor of God everyday.

CONFESSION
Dear Father I thank you because my youth is daily being renewed. My strength is daily being renewed. I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint because the Holy Spirit dwells in me and He vitalizes and nourishes my body daily by His power that is at work in me. I dwell in the favor of God.
