Sing praises.
“I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.”
Psalm 9:2
One of the ways you offer praise to God is by singing. When we sing, we are not singing to impress ourselves or others; we are offering praise to God.
Psalm 21:13 says, “Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.”
Psalm 27:6 says, “And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.”
Psalm 92:1 says, “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:”
Psalm 135:3 says, “Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.”
Psalm 145:7 says, “They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.”
