Praise with words.

“Take with you words and return to the Lord. Say to Him, Take away all our iniquity; accept what is good and receive us graciously; so will we render [our thanks] as bullocks [to be sacrificed] and pay the confession of our lips.”
Hosea 14:2(AMP)

Praise is the outward expression of gratitude or adoration to God for what He has done, what He is doing and what we expect Him to do. Praise can be in words; that is our confession according to Hebrews 13:15, “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”

Praise to God can be expressed through your words. What are you saying? Do you know that for the sake of praise expressed through words in the prayer of Hezekiah, God added fifteen more years to his life?

In Isaiah 38, the Bible lets us know that Hezekiah the king of Judah was sick unto death and Isaiah the Prophet came to him and made him know he was going to die and not live.

In the writings of Hezekiah himself in Isaiah 38:18-20 we are able to see the content of his prayer in praise to God, “For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth. The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.”

Therefore let your praise arise to God even with the confession of your lips and you will see His intervention in your situation.
