Appreciate what you have.
“Overwhelm them with appreciation and love! Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part.”
1 Thessalonians 5:13(MSG)
Many times people fail to appreciate what they have until they lose it. There is a man I know who had a hard working wife; helping him, connecting him with people and ensuring that he does well. As this man got richer, he never really cared about his wife. When she died, that was when his eyes were really opened to the treasure he had that he did not have the opportunity to value much.
That does not need to happen to you. Start today to begin to appreciate what you have. Appreciate your family; your spouse, your children, your parents, your brothers and sisters. You may also need to appreciate those who have helped you in one way or the other to become who you are in your journey in life today. Also appreciate your Pastors, your members, your leaders, your boss, your uncles and aunties, your friends. Do not wait until you lose them before you begin to see how valuable they have been to you.
Whatever you appreciate, is what appreciates in value. Whatever you do not appreciate, depreciates in value. Whatever you do not appreciate, you will eventually lose.
Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you for everyone you have used to do me good right from my birth to this day. I ask that you multiply your grace and your blessings towards them in every way, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
