Praise continually.

Sunday,  August  7th
Praise continually.

“Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.”
Psalm 119:164

Our opening scripture shows us that David praised God seven times a day. That is one of the secrets of David. Another man in scripture that praised God liked David was Daniel. That was one of the reasons why he always had great testimonies and influence.

Your thanksgiving and praise to God can bring you to a place of authority. Daniel 6:10(MSG) says, “When Daniel learned that the decree had been signed and posted, he continued to pray just as he had always done. His house had windows in the upstairs that opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he knelt there in prayer, thanking and praising his God.”

Daniel was spared from the lion's den because he was a man of praise. Praise silences your enemies and also activates angelic activity. After Daniel was thrown into the lion's den, the next day the Bible say in Daniel 6:19-22(GW), “At dawn, as soon as it was light, the king got up and quickly went to the lions' den.

As he came near the den where Daniel was, the king called to Daniel with anguish in his voice, "Daniel, servant of the living God! Was God, whom you always worship, able to save you from the lions?" Daniel said to the king, "Your Majesty, may you live forever! My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths so that they couldn't hurt me…” This is the heritage of those who continually live a life of praise and thanksgiving to God.
