Confidence from the Word.

“… and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.” Matthew 9:28

You cannot believe for or have faith for anything without the Word of God. What is faith? Faith is confidence. Therefore, you can only have confidence and faith to receive what you know  God has said is yours in His Word.

That you have been praying for the past twenty years does not guarantee you an answer. You do not get results in prayer because you are religious, you get results in prayer because you have faith, and faith comes by the Word of God. So, if there is no Word, there can be no faith. If there is no faith, no answer is guaranteed.

For instance, if you are believing God for a child, you and your spouse can pick a scripture like Psalm 128:1-3, “Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.” After getting the Word, let your prayer be based on the Word. For example you can pray saying, “Father in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, my wife and I fear you, and your Word says my wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of my house, and our children shall be as olive plants round about our table. So dear Father I thank you because from this day, this Word is fulfilled in our lives, in Jesus' Name. Amen.” Then go ahead and thank Him for the number of children you want and you shall have them. Congratulations.
