Consecrate To Your Call

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14.

When you answer your call as a leader, the next important thing we learnt earlier in the month is to see to it that you consecrate yourself to your call. This was what Apostle Paul did. He said in our opening scripture, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” That was an expression of total commitment and consecration to God's call for his life. What about you? Have you consecrated yourself to your call? Or you are just living for yourself. It is time for you to make the decision to consecrate your life totally to what you know God has called you to do.

Please read and meditate on Ephesians 2:7-10 (MSG), “Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It's God's gift from start to finish! We don't play the major role. If we did, we'd probably go around bragging that we'd done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.”

Dear Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask that You give to me revelations, insights and strategies on how to improve my life in Jesus' Name. Amen.
