“And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.”
Deuteronomy 34:9.
Yesterday, you learnt that one of the ways you get wisdom is through prayer. Today, I want you to know that you can also get wisdom through impartation. When hands are laid on you, you can contact the spirit of wisdom.
Our opening scripture shows us that Joshua the son of Nun was full of the Spirit of wisdom because Moses laid his hands on him. That is a scriptural example of contacting the wisdom of God through impartation.
Another way you increase in wisdom is through meditation. What is meditation? Meditation is rolling over the Word of God in your mind.
The Psalmist said, “Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.” Psalm 119:98-100.
Instruction.
Read 1 Kings 10:4-6 and Daniel 6:1-3. Ask God to stir up in you wisdom and excellence for the effective execution of all your tasks and responsibilities.
For further study, read:
Proverbs 3:13-20, Proverbs 4:7-9, Daniel 5:11-12.
Doing the Word
If you are having challenges in your academics as a student or you want to improve mentally, meditate on 1 John 2:20, 1 John 2:27 and 1 Corinthians 2:16 consistently.
