“But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.”
Exodus 18:22 (NLT)
As we conclude all we have learnt this month. I want to again reemphasize the importance of developing your leadership ability because your success or failure in life is traceable to your leadership ability and capacity. Therefore if you cultivate your capacity to lead, you will make a huge impact in whatever you do.
Every business grows to the measure or the size of the leadership ability of the entrepreneur. If you are a business man, you should cultivate your leadership ability. If you are a father, you should cultivate your leadership ability. If you are a leader in the house of God in any capacity, you must also develop your leadership capacity. This is why Paul speaking in 1 Timothy 3:4-5 (MSG) on the preconditions for leadership in the house of God said, “He must handle his own affairs well, attentive to his own children and having their respect. For if someone is unable to handle his own affairs, how can he take care of God's church?” If you are going to lead others well, you must first lead yourself well.
Your ability to lead in small matters will tell if you will be able to lead in big matters. Everything rises and falls on leadership. Whether it is in the home, in your business, in the church or in your organization. Leadership is always the problem and leadership is always the solution. So if you will cultivate your leadership ability, there is no telling how far you will go.
Instruction.
Please read 1 Samuel 23:16 and 1 Chronicles 12:22 and ask God to bring into your life people who will facilitate the fulfillment of your dreams and destiny.
