You are favoured

You are favoured.

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.”
Ephesians 1:6

You are the focus of God's love. Knowing that you are the focus of God's love meets the need to be somebody. You are already somebody special. You are accepted in the Beloved; this means that you are highly favoured. This is because whenever you are loved by someone it means that you have found favour in their sight.

In 1 Samuel 16:21-22, when David found favour in Saul's sight, the Bible says that Saul loved him greatly and sent a message to Jesse David's father saying, “… Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.” When Esther became queen, the Bible says in Esther 2:17, “And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.”

Therefore, if God loves you it means that you are favoured. That favour on your life can give to you in one day what you will not get in one thousand years of labour.

Instruction.
Sing songs of praise to God and thank Him for such love and favour that He has lavished upon you.
