“For God did not send His Son into the world to
condemn the world, but that the world through Him
might be saved.”
John 3:17 (NKJV)
Our opening scripture shows us that love
seeks the good and well-being of others.
The world was supposed to be condemned but
God sent Jesus who came to save
us so that we will not perish. Why did God do this
for us? He did it because He loved us and He was
seeking our good and well-being.
Now that you are learning the right way to love, I
encourage you to start seeking the well-being and
good of others around you. If you are married,
make seeking the well-being of your spouse a
priority and give them unconditional love.
Also, in learning to love the right way, you must
understand that love does not lie or deceive the one
he loves. I learnt this many years ago that you
cannot lie to someone you love. Whenever you lie
to someone, it means you do not love them. You
may say you lied because you do not want them to
be angry with you but that is pride. If you are
humble, you will acknowledge your sin. Only
humble people acknowledge their sin but the
proud will deceive.
Do not build your relationship with others and
your marriage on a lie because anything built on a
lie has no future. If you build your life on the truth,
the better your way will be and the greater your life
will be. What this means is that if you speak the
truth, you will make better progress and have a
more enriching life. Deception reveals lust but
truth reveals love.
Instruction.
Read Ephesians 3:14-19 and ask the Father to
give you a personal revelation of His love for
you.
