Treat Others Right 2

“And to love Him with all the heart, with all the
understanding, with all the soul, and with all the
strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is
more than all the whole burnt offerings and
sacrifices."
Mark 12:33 (NKJV)

According to the scriptures, love is the
measure of Christian maturity because
getting to the height of knowledge is not possible without love.

In our opening scripture, it is obvious that loving
God and loving people is more important to God
than your offerings. This means that if you are not a
loving person, your offering is useless. The Bible
says in Matthew 5:22-24 (NKJV), “But I say to you
that whoever is angry with his brother without a
cause shall be in danger of the judgment. And
whoever says to his brother,'Raca!' shall be in
danger of the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!'
shall be in danger of hell fire. Therefore if you bring
your gift to the altar, and there remember that your
brother has something against you, leave your gift
there before the altar, and go your way. First be
reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer
your gift.”

If you are living in bitterness, there will be no
returns on your efforts in the kingdom of God and
your prayers will be hindered according to 1 Peter
3:7 (NKJV) which says, “Husbands, likewise, dwell
with them with understanding, giving honor to the
wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs
together of the grace of life, that your prayers may
not be hindered.” Therefore if you do not want to
live an unfruitful life, my counsel to you is to walk
in love and put away all strife.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You because Your love is
shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit
therefore, today, I judge anger, I judge
bitterness, I judge pride and all selfishness.
They are flushed out of my life in the Name of
Jesus. I thank you Father for making me a lover,
in Jesus Name. Amen.
