“And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you,” 1 Thessalonians 3:12 (NKJV).
In our opening scripture today, we see the Apostle Paul admonishing the brethren to increase and abound in love to one another. This reveals that love is in levels, that is why you can actually abound in love towards others.
We see this being expressed in the lives of the brethren in Thessalonica in 2 Thessalonians 1:3 (NKJV), “We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other,”
I pray that as you read, understand and practice the principles you will be learning in this month's devotional, may your love abound more and more towards God, towards other believers and towards all men in Jesus' Name. Amen.
Prayer
Dear Father, I ask that You will cause my love to abound more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, that I may approve things that are excellent and to remain sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
