“And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1.
From today I will be showing to you the conditions for answered prayer.
The first condition for answered prayer is for you to always verbalize your prayer when you pray. The Bible says in Psalm 28:2 (NKJV), “Hear the voice of my supplications. When I cry to You, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.” The next time you pray, pray the right way by opening your mouth and saying what you want God to do for you. Remember that prayer is not meditation and prayer is not shaking. There are people who only shake their head from side to side while praying and say nothing with their mouth. That is not the right way to pray. According to the scriptures when you pray, open your mouth and make your petition or your demands.
Psalm 28:6 (NKJV) says, “Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications!” Hence, prayer must be verbalized.
Daniel prayed and he spoke in prayer according to Daniel 9:21 (NKJV), “Yes, while I was speaking in prayer …”. This shows to us again that if you are not talking, you are not praying.
