rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give
them showers of rain, to every one grass in the
field.” Zechariah 10:1.
There are many who do not know that they have a
responsibility to pray to see the will of God come
to pass in their lives. So do not sit there saying
if God wants to do it let him do it. No, it doesn't
happen that way, we are expected to pray it into
being.
In our opening scripture we are expected to ask for
rain in the time of the latter rain. Why? It was
time for the latter rain but nothing was happening.
This means that if you expect what is supposed to
happen in your life to happen on time, you have to
pray.
There are things in your life that were supposed to
happen, but because you didn't pray, they didn't
happen in time.
John Wesley said, “It seems as though God will do
nothing unless someone asks Him.” Hence if you do
not ask Him when it is time, He won't make it
because He is the One that makes things happen, but
for Him to make things happen we have to pray.
Therefore if you want to see God's will for your
life happen at the time they ought to happen then
pray.
