Enforce God's will 4

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” 1 Corinthians 16:9.

The success of God's work on the earth depends on our prayer. As a Christian if you do not pray, God's will won't be done on earth. This is because there is a devil out there and evil forces whose sole aim is to frustrate the will of God on the earth, but when we pray, we are able to bind them and their works to enforce the will of God on earth.

A dear minister of the gospel spoke about how he was preaching to a woman to receive Christ so that she will not go to hell. Then she said that she is already in hell, so, what's the use of receiving Christ into her life? So he went to pray and God revealed to him how he should communicate the gospel to her and he did and led her to Christ. He made her know that her salvation was what will give her a foretaste of heaven. She believed and began to prosper.

Your salvation is a foretaste of heaven. Your life ought to be heaven on earth as a Christian. That is why you ought to pray to enforce the fulfilment of His will for your life.

God said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11-13.
