“Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking
[reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8 (AMP)
Our opening scripture shows us the place of Persistence in prayer.
There are many things the Lord told you will happen that have not happened yet. It is time for you to stop waiting for them to happen and to start persisting in prayer for their manifestation. There are things I am persisting in prayer to see because God told me they will happen.
For instance, when Daniel went on a twenty-one day fast in Daniel chapter 10, it didn't look as though he planned to fast that long because the first day he prayed God answered as seen in Daniel 10:12 (MSG), "'Relax, Daniel,' he continued, 'don't be afraid. From the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I set out to come to you.”
When you study further in Daniel chapter 10 you will discover the angel came to Daniel twenty-one days after he was sent with the answer to his prayers because he was held back by demons. The angel said, “I was waylaid by the angel-prince of the kingdom of Persia and was delayed for a good three weeks. But then Michael, one of the chief angel-princes, intervened to help me. I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia. And now I'm here to help you understand what will eventually happen to your people. The vision has to do with what's ahead.'” Daniel 10:13-14 (MSG). Daniel persisted in fasting and prayer until He saw the manifestation of what he desired. I encourage you to do the same.
Instruction.
Please read Psalm 12:5, Psalm 9:11-12, 2 Thessalonians 1:6, 1 Corinthians 16:9 and ask God to avenge every opposition to your life and destiny.
