“After saying all these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so he can give glory back to you.” John 17:1 (NLT)
Today I will again emphasize the principle you learnt yesterday on tying your prayers to God's glory. I want you to know that whenever you pray saying, “Father if you do this thing for me I will testify”. When He does it for you as you asked and you do not testify, you just cheated Him of His glory. This can hinder you next time.
Have you ever been in a serious predicament and then you called on God to deliver you vowing that if He delivers you, you will serve Him. Then, He delivers you and you do not serve Him as you vowed, you cheated Him of His glory.
When you pray, pray prayers that bring glory to God but do not forget to testify and give Him the praise when He answers your prayers. If you are a Pastor having challenges in ministry, you can pray to the Father saying, “Dear Father, grow this church for the glory of your name. When this work grows Father, men will know you grew it.” Pray that way consistently and as you begin to experience supernatural progress, intentionally give Him the praise and glory and you will watch Him take that work to another level of glory because He knows that His glory is tied to you and your ministry.
As we conclude today's devotional, the question I will like to ask you is this, “Is God's glory tied to your business, education, marriage, finance, etc.?” Tie God's glory to all you do and He will magnify
Himself through your life.
Prayer.
Dear Father, I submit my life and all that pertains to me for your glory. Use my life for Your praise and glory and magnify Yourself through my life every day, in Jesus' Name.
Amen.

Doing the Word
Repent if you have lived your life with the wrong motive instead of the glory of God.
