Forgiveness is available

Friday, March 18th
Forgiveness is available.

“The Spirit of the Lord is with me. He has anointed me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to announce forgiveness to the prisoners of sin and the restoring of sight to the blind, to forgive those who have been shattered by sin,”
Luke 4:18(GW)

From our opening scripture we see that the reason why many are suffering is because they do not know that they have been forgiven. There are unbelievers who find it difficult to believe that they can be forgiven by Jesus from all the wrong things and atrocities they have committed. As a result of their unbelief, they remain prisoners of sin. There are others who are born again but still find it difficult to believe that they have been purged from their old sins according to the scriptures, so that guilt and condemnation cause their lives to be shattered by sin and their faith becomes ineffective. (Hebrews 1:3, 2 Peter 1:9)

There are many who still think in the corner of their minds that maybe it is because of one sin or the other they committed in the past that they are experiencing one set back or the other. They do not really believe that when they asked God to forgive them, all their sins were completely forgiven and washed away.

Therefore, if you are wondering if God can forgive any sin, the answer is yes! He can forgive any sin and wash you as white as snow. So, no matter what you may have done wrong, do not remain in your condemnation and guilt. You can come out of it today by confessing that sin to Jesus and receiving forgiveness by faith.

Isaiah 1:18(GNB) says, “The LORD says, "Now, let's settle the matter. You are stained red with sin, but I will wash you as clean as snow. Although your stains are deep red, you will be as white as wool.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, in obedience to your Word, I choose to repent from all wrong doing. Therefore, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses me from all sin and washes me as clean as snow and as white as wool, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
