Forgiveness and healing.

“But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house.”
Matthew 9:6-7

I saw the testimony of a man on 700 club. He testified that before he got born again he contracted HIV because of the kind of life he lived at that time. He said he was sexually immoral and a whoremonger.

Finally, after he got born again, in the church he was attending he was taught on the love of God and forgiveness. He learnt that when God forgives, the judgment that came upon you because of your sins would also be removed. This message made him to believe that he could be healed of the HIV he contracted before he got born again.

After some time, he went to the hospital which was owned by the church for an HIV test. The test result came out as negative. On seeing the result, he found it hard to believe it so he decided to go for another HIV test but this time in a hospital run by unbelievers. When the test result was also negative, he became convinced that he had been completely healed of HIV.

What made the miracle possible? It was having an understanding of the love of God and forgiveness that stirred up his faith to believe he could be healed of HIV and he got healed. According to your faith, be it unto you today.

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare according to Matthew 8:17 that Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. Therefore by this truth I judge every sickness, pain and affliction in my body as a result of sin, to pass out of my body right now. I am free and cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.
