Be strenghtened.

Thursday, July 21st Be strengthened. “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” Ephesians 3:16 True strength comes from the human spirit. The word 'strengthened' in our opening scripture is from the Greek word 'krataioo;' it means 'to empower,' 'to increase in vigor,' 'to be strengthened,' 'to wax strong in spirit.’ This is a prayer I also encourage you to pray for yourself if you desire to be strong in spirit. You will pray that God will strengthen you in your inward man with might according to the riches of His glory. Praying this way to be strengthened in spirit is important because the condition of your spirit is what determines your character. The effect of praying this prayer in Ephesians 3:16 is found in Ephesians 3:17-19(AMP) which says, “May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!” This will be the outcome of your life when you pray this prayer. Therefore I encourage you to pray this prayer often for yourself. Instruction. Please read Ephesians 3:16 and pray the prayer for yourself. For further study, read: Micah 3:8, Ephesians 6:10, 2 Timothy 4:17-18. Bible reading for today: Luke chapters 10-12 and Matthew chapters 1-3.
