Feed On The Word

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the
word, that ye may grow thereby:”

1 Peter 2:2.

In the babyhood stage of spiritual growth, you
must feed on the unadulterated milk of the Word of God in order to grow spiritually. Are
you aware that the safest milk for a child is from the mother's breast? This is why Peter here admonishes spiritual newborn babes to desire the unadulterated milk of the Word to grow.

If you are going to grow healthy as a new believer,
you must spend time reading, studying and
meditating on the Word of God. The Bible says in 2
Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works.” The
Word of God is what you need to grow into
maturity if you are a child of God, so I encourage
you to prioritize the reading and studying of the
Bible.

Jesus said in Luke 4:4, “… It is written, That man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of
God.” The Word of God is for your spirit so do not
grow your mind and body at the expense of your
spirit. Pay attention to your spiritual growth by
feeding yourself with the Word of God daily.

Instruction.
Please read Philippians 1:9 and ask God to give
you a love for the knowledge of His Word.
