“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God, and
knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God;
for God is love.”
1 John 4:7-8.
The twelfth benefit of spiritual growth is
greater love for others. The more you grow,
the more loving you become. Love is the
yardstick for measuring spiritual maturity.
If you desire to abound in love as you grow
spiritually, there are certain things that you must
do: First, pray the prayers in Philippians 1:9-11 and
1 Thessalonians 3:10-13 consistently. Secondly, stay
full of the Spirit. See Galatians 5:22-23. Thirdly, let
the divine nature dominate you. See 1 John 4:7-8.
Fourthly, believe and recognize God's love. See 1
John 4:16. Fifthly, practice the love of God. See 1
John 5:1-3. Sixthly, confess it because everything in
the kingdom of God is voice activated. See Mark
11:22-23.
Seventhly, practice forgiveness. See Matthew 18:21-
35. Eighthly, be a doer of the Word of God. See John
14:21-23. Ninthly, get to know God more and more
personally and intimately. See Ephesians 3:14-19.
Practicing the principles above will not only cause
you to walk in greater love for others but it will
cause your faith to blossom and bring you to full
spiritual maturity.
Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause my love to
abound more and more in knowledge and in all
judgment, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
