“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a
companion of fools shall be destroyed.”
Proverbs 13:20.
If you are going to grow spiritually, then you
must understand this principle: “Growth is built
on fellowship. You cannot grow alone
there has to be fellowship.
There was a day I was studying and I got a call from
a man of God which I received. As we talked, it got
to a point I started speaking in tongues and the
power of God was strong upon me as I started
speaking to him about what God was telling me to
tell him. When I was through, he too started
speaking in tongues and interpreting, as he went
on, he spoke to a point and began speaking some
things that he could not have known because I did
not tell him. And that fellowship continued on and
on. I enjoyed that time of fellowship with that man
of God because there was something I was
believing for which he confirmed by the spirit and
that just made me rest.
To grow spiritually, you must be in a growth
environment and surround yourself with people
who will inspire you to grow spiritually. Who do
you have as a friend that will inspire you to grow
spiritually? Do you have friends who can
challenge you to fast, pray and study the Word of
God? Those are the right friends, not those who
will pour water on your spiritual fire by drawing
your attention to carnal things.
I want you to know that every desire that is
sustained in your life needs a friend to fuel it.
Choose your friends with this in mind.
Instruction.
Please read 1 Chronicles 12:22 and 1 Samuel
23:16 and ask God to bring into your life people
who will facilitate the fulfilment of your dreams
and destiny.

Doing the Word
