Growth Is Expected

“For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye
have need that one teach you again which be the
first principles of the oracles of God; and are 

become such as have need of milk, and not of 
strong meat.” 
Hebrews 5:12.

Do you know that God expects you to grow
if you are a child of God? In our opening
scripture the believers were not growing 
as expected because it was expected that they
would be teachers at this time but they still 
needed to be taught again the first principles 
of the oracles of God. They were still immature
 like children because they still had need of milk 
and not of strong meat. These believers in our 
opening scripture were childish in thinking.

The Bible says in Hebrews 5:13-14, “For every one
that useth milk is unskilful in the word of
righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat
belongeth to them that are of full age, even those
who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil.”

Also the Bible says in Galatians 4:1, “Now I say,
That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth
nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”

Therefore I encourage you to make your spiritual
growth a priority because if you do not grow
spiritually, you will not be able to enjoy the 
fullness of your inheritance in Christ.

Instruction.
Dear Father, I ask that You grant unto me the
Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
knowledge of You. Illuminate the eyes of my
understanding with light that I may know the
hope of my calling and the riches of the glorious
inheritance in the saints, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
