“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great
wonders and miracles among the people.”
Acts 6:8.
The eleventh benefit of spiritual growth is
greater accomplishments. As you grow in Christ,
you will be able to do more for God
Stephen in our opening scripture was not an
Apostle, but because he was a growing Christian,
when the Apostles needed a few men to become
deacons, he was among those selected which
proves to us that spiritual growth will indeed cause
you to be able to do more for God. Also he was used
by God to do more for others as the Bible records
concerning him in Acts 6:8, “And Stephen, full of
faith and power, did great wonders and miracles
among the people.”
Spiritual growth will increase your capacity to
achieve more. Things that were previously difficult
will be achieved with ease.
In Hebrews 11:32-34, the Bible tells us about men
who grew their faith and through faith were able to
achieve great things for God including things that
were previously difficult. “And what shall I more
say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon,
and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of
David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who
through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought
righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the
mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire,
escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness
were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to
flight the armies of the aliens.”
