Intimacy With The Godhead

“That which was from the beginning, which we
have heard, which we have seen with our eyes,

which we have looked upon, and our hands have
handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was
manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness,
and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with
the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which
we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye
also may have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus
Christ. And these things write we unto you, that
your joy may be full.”
1 John 1:1-4.

The eighth benefit of spiritual growth is
greater intimacy with God the Father, His
Son and the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual growth is not the mere accumulation of
knowledge or information. It is the development
and cultivation of the human spirit through
constant exposure to the influence of God's Word
and His Spirit. As we do that we begin to develop a
personal acquaintance with God in a deep and
intimate fellowship.

The more you grow in Christ, the more you are able
to relate with God as Daddy. He wants you to know
Him and relate with Him as Daddy because He is
your Daddy. It is your intimacy with the Holy Spirit
that will bring you that revelation. The Bible says,
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they
are the sons of God. For ye have not received the
spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received
the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,
Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God:” Romans
8:14-16.

Instruction.

Please read Exodus 33:13 and 2 Peter 1:2 then ask
God to reveal Himself to you so that you can
experience an increase in grace.

Doing the Word

Be conscious knowing that you have an intimate
relationship with God as Father. Relate with
Him that way always.
