Great Authority

“I write unto you, little children, because your sins
are forgiven you for his name's sake. I write unto you,
fathers, because ye have known him that is from the

beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye
have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you,
little children, because ye have known the Father. I
have written unto you, fathers, because ye have
known him that is from the beginning. I have written
unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the
word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome
the wicked one.”
1 John 2:12-14.

The sixth benefit of spiritual growth is greater
authority. As you grow in Christ, your
authority and influence will also grow.

In our opening scripture, you will notice that the
young men experienced greater victory over devils,
therefore as you grow spiritually, you will learn to
exercise your authority in Christ over devils and all
negative circumstances.

God never intended for you to be subservient to
anything. He made you to dominate all the contrary
forces of evil because His power is resident inside
you. Luke 10:19 (AMP) says, “Behold! I have given
you authority and power to trample upon serpents
and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength
and ability] over all the power that the enemy
[possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm
you.”

This is your heritage in Christ therefore I encourage
you to grow up spiritually to experience the
fullness of this great authority.

Instruction.

Please read Isaiah 54:14 and pray that you and
every member of your family will be
established in righteousness, far from every
form of oppression, fear and terror.

For further study, read:

Isaiah 54:17, Mark 16:17-18, 1 John 4:4, 1 John 5:4-5.
