Grow Into Maturity 2

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in
the power of his might.”

Ephesians 6:10.

The fifteenth benefit of spiritual growth is
greater strength spiritually. Spiritual weakness
is an evidence of a lack of spiritual
growth. Spiritual growth will fortify you with
greater capacity to endure or withstand pressure.
If you desire greater strength spiritually, then
you should consistently pray Ephesians 3:16 for
yourself consistently and Ephesians 1:16 so that
God can grant you revelations in the knowledge of
Him. Daniel 11:32b says, “… the people that do
know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

The sixteenth benefit of spiritual growth is greater
control over your tongue. As you grow in Christ,
you will find grace to control your tongue.
Therefore, you will be able to say the right thing
at the right time.

James 3:1-2 (AMP) says, “NOT MANY [of you]
should become teachers (self-constituted censors
and reprovers of others), my brethren, for you know
that we [teachers] will be judged by a higher
standard and with greater severity [than other
people; thus we assume the greater accountability
and the more condemnation]. For we all often
stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if
anyone does not offend in speech [never says the
wrong things], he is a fully developed character and
a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to
curb his entire nature.”
