Set Goals

“So I run like someone who has a goal.”                          1 Corinthians 9:26a (ERV).

Do you run like someone who has a goal in life? The Apostle Paul was able to finish his course in life and our opening scripture lets us see that one of the principles he practiced was setting goals. Do you set goals? You have to set goals because goals are supposed to be milestones on your path to destiny. For every phase in your life, you should have a milestone you are set to reach. These milestones are markers leading to the fulfilment of your ultimate destiny. Reaching each milestone should draw you closer to the fulfilment of your destiny.

The reason why people do not set goals is because they don't know where they are going. Where are you going? If you know your destination in life then I encourage you to start setting goals today because the future belongs to those who prepare for it. One of the ways you can effectively prepare for your future is by setting goals. Goals help you to know what you are looking forward to becoming, doing and having.

Set your goals for each day; they become your focus for that day. Set your goals for each week; they become your focus for that week. Set your goal for the month; that could be a milestone accomplishment. When you organize your life this way there will be greater order in your life, you will be more focused, more excellent, more self-motivated and inspired. Your time will be better maximized, more fulfilled, more successful and more result oriented.

Prayer.
Dear Father, help me to number my days that I may apply my heart unto wisdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
1 Chronicles 22:5 (MSG), Psalm 90:12, Proverbs16:9.

Doing the Word
Please set your goal. What will be your goal for next month? Break it down to what you want to achieve each week, that can  help you set your daily goals. Don't forget to commit all your goals to the Lord.

FOHP THE-D DAY

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus by whom we have access to abundance of grace and peace from our Heavenly Father.

It's always a joy to write to you; to keep you posted on what God the Father is saying to us through His Spirit. See Mark 4:23-24; Matthew 13:9; Revelation 2:7.

God is doing something new and exciting in the earth. He is releasing greater revelations of how to receive, function and flow with His power. God wants to show Himself BIG through you. He wants to demonstrate His awesome power through you.

You have to become conscious of God's power at work in you. Every child of God that is filled with the Holy Spirit is carrying the very creative power of God in Him. By that I mean the very power that created the universe is inside of you through the Presence of the Holy Spirit in your heart.

Being full with the Spirit of God is being plugged into the power of God. All the power you need is available to you right now. See Ephesians 1:17-19; 3:14-20. That's why Paul the Apostle prayed that God should give the Ephesian Church the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him so that they may comprehend the exceeding greatness of the power given to them.

The Believer has been flooded with the power of God's Holy Spirit in his spirit. As he learns to grow in revelation and the knowledge of the truth, the greater the impact and the influence of the power will be. Revelation is the mother of manifestation. That's why the teaching of God's Word is paramount to the manifestation and demonstration of the power of God. See 1 Corinthians 12:1-3; Psalm 82:5; Daniel 11:32. The knowledge you possess is what determines the power you enjoy or experience.

Secondly, the Believer needs to learn to give him or herself to prayer. Through prayer we activate the power of God. We stir that power when we pray in other tongues. This is so important. When you study the life of Jesus you will notice that His greatest miracles happened after prayers. See Luke 5:16-25; 6:12,17-19; Matthew 14:23-36.

Jesus is our example so God expects us to be men and women of prayer just like Him. His Life and Nature is in us. His Power is in us. His Love is in us. As He is so are we in this world. He has said that those who believe in Him will do the same works. If you believe in Jesus, then as He said, you too can do His works. Believe what He said and act on it. See John 14:12-14; Mark 16:17-18; Isaiah 8:18.

Child of God begin to confess what God has said about you. Believe what God has said and act like it. Remember that you get what you expect. Whatever He has promised you in His Word, believe it and expect it. Expectation is the breeding ground for the miraculous. Expectation is the mother of manifestation. It's your move now. It's time to act. See John 14:12-14: Mark 16:15; Philemon 6. We will be expecting you at Fragrance of His Presence to be impacted by the Manifest Presence and Power of God.

Let me pray for you:

I pray that God would grant you revelations from His Word about how to flow in the Supernatural. May He saturate your life with His manifest Presence until you become a bold witness of the Supernatural power in our day. May the gifts of the Holy Spirit find free expression through your life in the Name of Jesus.

May the fire of God's love overwhelm your heart. May the passion for God and the compassion for the sick saturate you through and through until you become an embodiment of love to your world.

May the Word of the Lord be found on your tongue. May you have the right answers whenever you speak in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.

Above all, may you finish well. Shalom

In His Majesty’s Service,

DWF

P. S.
See you at Fragrance of His Presence.

Define Your Destination

“I don't mean that I am exactly what God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal. But I continue trying to reach it and make it mine. That's what Christ Jesus wants me to do. It is the reason he made me his. Brothers and sisters, I know that I still have a long way to go. But there is one thing I do: I forget what is in the past and try as hard as I can to reach the goal before me. I keep running hard toward the finish line to get the prize that is mine because God has called me through Christ Jesus to life up there in heaven.”
Philippians 3:12-14 (ERV).

Have you defined your destination in life? If you have not you will be a drifter in life. For instance, if you are going to Lagos, you are not supposed to board a vehicle going to Abuja, if you do, you will arrive at the wrong destination. Yet that is what is happening to many people in life; they are in the wrong vehicle heading for the wrong destination. But since they have not defined their destination, they do not know. At the end of the day, their lives become a waste.

One of the reasons you should define your destination in life is because the man who knows where he is going will have the greater speed in life.

The Bible says, “The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.” Ecclesiastes 10:15. I encourage you to examine your life goals to be sure that you are on the right path to your destination because if you are not, you will not fulfil God's vision for your life.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You cause me to stand perfect and complete in all your will for my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Define Your Life

“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.”
Hebrews 10:7.

Have you defined what your life stands for? I will like you to read today's devotional with thought and study, then take out time to pray and fellowship with God so that He can help you define your life in line with His will.

I believe everybody should have one word that defines their life. For me, my one word is purpose. For Jesus His one word is life. What is your one word?

I also believe everyone should have a sentence that defines their life. Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10. For me, my sentence is to help men find God, follow Him and fulfill His plan and purpose for their lives. That is my sentence. What is yours? You need to commune with God and let Him reveal the one word and sentence that defines your life to you. Such clarity is key if you are going to fulfill God's plan and purpose for your life.
The greater your clarity, the greater your focus, the greater your focus the greater your success. This is because the man that is focused will achieve more than the man that is distracted.
Finally, I discovered that Jesus also had a paragraph that defined His life, He said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19. I believe you should have yours too. This is my paragraph; “I am an Apostle called to teach, preach and heal with the sole aim of becoming like Jesus by exposing myself to the influence of God's Word and His Spirit even as I make a practice of love, so that I may be able to inspire the Body of Christ to embrace the Biblical mandate to take the love of God, the Word of God and the healing power of God to every individual within their sphere of contact.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You fill me with the knowledge of Your will concerning every area of my life in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Acts 13:47, Acts 26:1-19, Romans 15:15-16, Galatians 2:8.

It's Already Done

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”
Romans 4:17-18.

When God speaks, He calls the end from the beginning. That was why He said to Abraham in our opening scripture “I have made thee a father of many nations”, though the man had no child at the time. But that Word spoken by God meant that he will surely have a child and nations will come out of him.

For instance, God commissioned me on November 22nd 2002 saying, “Take my healing power to the nations”. When God said that we had not even had our first public healing meeting as a ministry but I believed and had faith in what God said. I knew we were going to reach the nations of the world. Today, we are already reaching the nations of the world with the healing power of God.

Whenever God says anything, it is because He has seen the end from the beginning. He told us to take the healing power of God to the nations because He knew the ministry is already a success because God never starts what He has not already finished.

Therefore if God tells you to start something or reveals your destiny to you, it is because in the heart of God it is finished. I encourage you to have faith in the Word God has spoken to you concerning your destiny, the vision He has shown you and His plan and purpose for your life. If He said it, He shall make it good.

Instruction.
Give the Lord thanks because every good Word He has spoken concerning you will be fulfilled in their season.

Dream

"Look as far as you can see in every direction—north and south, east and west. I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession.”
 Genesis 13:14-15 (NLT)

I want to encourage you to dream. Imagine and see yourself in the future God has shown you. God told Abraham in our opening scripture to see in every direction – north and south, east and west. That can only be possible if he sees it with his imagination.

God is saying the same thing to you today, use your imagination and see the future. A man wrote down one hundred and fifteen things he wanted to achieve and he achieved almost everything before he died.

Get a note book, write out your dreams and all that you want to achieve with your life. As far as you can see, God is willing to give it to you.

Confession.
Father in the Name of Jesus, I am a believer, am not a doubter. I believe that you have a great plan for my life. Whatever it is, I open my heart and my mind to receive visions and your dreams of greatness that you have for me. Holy Spirit fill my heart and my mind with pictures of the future God has ordained for me. Holy Spirit heal my mind and my imaginations. Deliver me from the corrupt thoughts and lusts that have corrupted my imagination. Holy Spirit, I ask that my imagination will become the womb of God for the conception of the future that God has for me. Thank You Father, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Conviction

“I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to explore the land. And I brought him back a report according to my convictions”
Joshua 14:7 (NIV)

If you are going to have your vision fulfilled, you must have conviction. The words in our opening scripture were the words spoken by Caleb one of the leaders of Israel that went out to spy the land of Canaan. When he came back from spying the land he already saw the victory because he had convictions and faith in God.

Faith is being convinced that what God has spoken will come to pass. Faith is a deep rooted conviction based on God's integrity (God cannot lie), ability (God can do what He says), credibility (God's faithfulness), charity (God's love) and perpetuity (God's track record). Faith requires these five things.

Do you have faith in the vision that God has shown to you? Are you convinced that it will come to pass? Martin Luther King Jr. had convictions and he told them what he saw. He showed them the America of his dream with his words and today that dream is happening in America as we see Black people getting into more influential positions.

Look at the words of Caleb in Numbers 13:30 expressing his conviction in the Word of God and the fulfilment of His promise, “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” That is the kind of conviction you need to have to see your vision come to pass.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for your faithfulness towards me being convinced that every good Word you have spoken concerning me is coming to pass unhindered, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Take Responsibility

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” Joshua 1:8 (NKJV).

God's words to Joshua in our opening scripture shows us that we are responsible for where we are. He told Joshua, “For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

If you will not take responsibility for where you are, you will not succeed. Every failure will blame the circumstances surrounding their birth as the reason for their failure. That is an excuse for failure. Stop giving excuses. Failures give excuses but successful people take responsibility for their success by being diligent.

I once met a man who told me how he literally trained himself through school. From Primary to Secondary to his first degree, to masters and now he has his ICAN. He didn't have anyone to train him but he took responsibility for his success.

Proverbs 10:4 (NKJV) says, “He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.” I encourage you to become diligent by taking responsibility for your success.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I believe I receive wisdom, understanding, knowledge and the grace for diligence and greater effectiveness in all I lay my hands to do for greater productivity, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Contemplate 2

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Joshua 1:8.

God's instruction to Joshua in our opening scripture came immediately after he was shown a destiny of how he was going to divide to God's people an inheritance. If his destiny is going to be accomplished, God says he has to meditate day and night.

The Bible says, “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: …” Proverbs 23:7. This means that if you do not change your thinking, you will not change your results. Your life right now reflects your current way of thinking. Meditation is the way you renew your mind, and until you renew your mind, you cannot change your outcomes.

Psalm 1:1-3 says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

Notice from the scripture above that consistency is the key to success, “in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Success is a reward for consistency in doing the right things.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I believe I receive the grace for consistency in doing the right things, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Genesis 24:63, Daniel 6:10, Mark 4:24(AMP).

Doing the Word

Contemplate 1

“Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”
1 Timothy 4:14-15.

If you are going to have your vision fulfilled, there must be contemplation. Contemplation is concentration on spiritual things as a form of private devotion. To contemplate is to consider with focused attention. It refers to thoughtful study or meditation.

Notice in our opening scripture that a prophetic Word had come forth to Timothy but it required contemplation for it to be manifested. So Paul tells him, “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.”

Are you aware that all successful people meditate one way or the other? Peter J. Daniels was asked, “How did you achieve all these things?” He replied, “I think.” He schedules one day of the week just to think. Another great leader in the Body of Christ said, “Thinking precedes accomplishments.”

Your mind is the engine room of destiny. Therefore, from what you have learnt today, I encourage you to schedule a time where you meditate on the Word of God because it will help protect your mind. Meditation will also help to protect your mind from all lust that seek to corrupt your imagination in order to cripple your future.

Contemplation or meditation is the key to visible progress. So if you want to make progress, you must make out time to meditate on the Word of God and the vision God has given you. It has been said, “See it first in your mind before you do it.” This is because if you can see it, it becomes inevitable.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You anoint my eyes with eye salve to see the glorious future and destiny You have in store for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

For further study, read:
Psalm 119:15, Psalm 119:97, 99, Romans 12:1-2.

Doing the Word
Imagine yourself prospering and succeeding in what God has called you to do.

The Power of Values:

Acts 20:24 KJV

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Values are what we consider important, non negotiable and essential for our existence, fulfillment or progress. Values are the principles that drive our decisions, fuel our desires and strengthen our resolve to do something or not do anything. Values are the anchor of our convictions, the impetus for our interests and the why of our actions. Our values determine what we enjoy or what we despise. Our values decide what we pursue or what we neglect. They determine what we prioritize or what we avoid. Our lives are governed by our values.

Our values are a reflection of our way of thinking. Our values are shaped by our mindsets. Furthermore, our mindsets are the products of the information, the experiences and ideas that we hold as truth. But for me, I accept the Word of God as truth and final authority on all issues. I choose to live life from God’s perspective. His Word is truth. In fact, His Word is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. See John 14:6; 17:17; 2 Corinthians 13:8.

Until God’s Word dominates a man’s thinking, his values will be worldly, fleshly and pleasure or wealth driven. It takes the dominance of God’s Word within the individual to create and instill eternal values in a man or woman’s heart. Your values are creating your choices, desires and reactions. Values determine and drive self control and personal discipline. To know a man’s values is to know him because our lives take on the character of our values.

Until you know your values and identify them, you will be a slave to many things. You have to ask yourself some valid and hard questions like: “Why do I like this thing?” “Why do I hate such and such?” When you have reasons for your values you develop an unshakable resolve to live out your true convictions. Don’t just do things because everyone is doing it. Don’t say things because everyone seems to be saying it. Ask questions: Probing questions. It has been said that the man who knows how will always have a job but the man who knows why will always be his boss.

Please see Ephesians 4:17-24; Romans 12:2; 13:11-14: Ephesians 5:1-15; 2 Timothy 2:24-26.

Focus On The Vision

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.

For you to be successful in the fulfilment of God's vision for your life, you must have a clear focus. According to our opening scripture, Jesus had His focus on the vision. The Bible says, “… who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame …”

The reason why people give up on the vision God had shown them is because they let it slip from before their eyes. Discouragement sets in when you are more focused on the present circumstances than the vision and the glorious future ahead of you.

For instance, I always kept my focus on the vision and future ahead of me when the Lord sent me to Bayelsa State many years ago. So, even though we were meeting in a place that was not so decent at the time we started, I was not discouraged because my focus was not on my present but on the joy that was set before me. As a result, I was able to despise the shame because I had seen the future.

Do you know the reason why you may feel discouraged today, it is either you have not seen the future or you are not focused on the future. Your faith will thrive when you can clearly see the vision and future ahead of you.

Instruction.
Read Jeremiah 33:3 then spend time praying and ask God to show you what He has assigned for you to do.

Don't Miss Your Opportunity

“I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”
Ecclesiastes 9:11.

God is saying to us from our opening scripture that 'fast guys' don't always win neither do strong guys. Also, you can be wise and educated and still be hungry and broke. You may even be skillful and lack favour because the Bible says, “… time and chance happeneth to them all.”

There are people who miss their opportunities in life because they are not conscious of this truth. For instance, there are ladies who are naturally gifted by God with the ability to care for natural hair and God had laid it in their heart to start a saloon but they did nothing about it. They did not value the idea because it came too naturally. They feel because they have a university degree they are too big to go into such business. As a result, they go in search of white collar jobs instead of taking advantage of the opportunity God has shown them and gifted them with wisdom to do.
Do you know why we do not value such things sometimes? It is because it comes too naturally. It comes naturally because that is what God has gifted you to do. You may have studied law but doing what God has gifted you to do with diligence is the place of your greatness. Do not let pride stop you from living to the fullest of your potential.

If God has filled you with wisdom in handling human hair and has led you to open a saloon, do it. If He has filled you with wisdom for handling cars and has led you to open a car mechanic workshop, do it. Do you have the wisdom to handle clothes and you are led you to open a dry cleaning business, then do it. Whatever line of business God is calling you into, stop looking for a huge capital, just start with what you have and God will begin to bless the work of your hands as He said in Deuteronomy 14:29.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank You for giving me wisdom into hidden details. I ask that You give me ideas, insights and concepts that will fetch me an income for my generations, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Centre Of His Will 3

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
 Ephesians 5:15-17 (NKJV)

One day, a minister saw one of our pastors and said to him, “You guys are doing a great work because everything you guys are doing is by faith.” He then confessed that his work as a minister, is been financed by loans from banks for about fifty million naira.

We do our work in the ministry by faith not by loans because we understand vision. That is why we will never initiate any project He has not commanded. I understand that if it is God's will, it is God's bill. If it is God's choice, it is God's invoice.

Every divine vision has its guaranteed divine provision. So if God has not called you to do it, don't do it, otherwise you might just find yourself begging from office to office. I have never entered anyone's office to beg for a dime because I will never embark on any project God has not commanded.

If God sent you to do it, He will fund it. Do not initiate what God never told you. That is one of the reasons people struggle and become frustrated in life. Therefore I encourage you, if you are a young person reading this devotional today, find out God's perfect will for your life early so you can start making the best use of your life.

Prayer.

The Centre Of His Will 2

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
Ephesians 5:15-17 (NKJV)

Living outside of God's will for your life is a waste of your life. The Good News Translation puts Ephesians 5:17 thus, “Don't be fools, then, but try to find out what the Lord wants you to do.” There is something the Lord wants you to do with your life. Find it out and live for it. When you capture God's dream for your life, its success is inevitable if you comply with the program.

You learnt yesterday that God's dream never fails, it works. So when you find out God's plan for your life, you have found a success guaranteed vision or dream. There are people who will work hard and yet amount to nothing much because they have no grace for what they are trying to do. They are outside of God's plan for their lives. I want you to know that whatever God calls you to do, He will empower you to do it.

I remember when I was younger, I liked football and I played football; I had the speed, the sagacity and the youth. I wonder where I would have been if I had chosen that as my career, it is certain I would not be at the center of God's will for my life as I am now. Life is more than just for pursuing your dreams, it is for fulfilling God's plan and purpose for your life. If you don't want to fail in life, find out what God has called you to do and do it.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You give me wisdom and insight into Your perfect plan for my life so that I may function accurately, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

The Centre Of His Will 1

“The Lord of Heaven's Armies has sworn this oath: "It will all happen as I have planned. It will be as I have decided.”
Isaiah 14:24 (NLT)

In line with our opening scripture today, it has been said that God's plan has no possibility of failure but man's plan has no guarantee of success. If you want your faith to always thrive, I encourage you to always partner with God's plan.

This is why you need to find out what God wants you to do because He has a plan for your life. There are people who do not know what God wants to do with their lives because they don't ask questions. If you don't know what God wants to do with your life ask Him and He will reveal it to you according to Jeremiah 33:3, “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.”

Romans 12:2 (AMP) says, “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].”

Do not live your life carelessly and outside of God's perfect plan for you. I encourage you to ask Him in faith to reveal His plan and purpose for your life if you do not know and He will show you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask that You grant unto me wisdom and insight into Your perfect plan and purpose for my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Have Hope

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

Our opening scripture reveals faith is dependent on hope because faith is the substance of things hoped for.

What is hope? Hope is a clear and compelling picture of the future. It is a positive mental image of a preferable future. So your faith will not work until you have hope.

Do you have a clear expectation of the future? Without a clear and compelling picture and expectation concerning your future, you will be a drifter in life.

When you study the Bible in Genesis chapter 15, you will see how God gave Abraham hope that birthed faith which led to the fulfilment of God's Word in his life. Your faith will not work until you see a positive future. Faith requires a clear mental image of what you want out of life.

What are you seeing concerning your future? Do you see a positive future? If you don't, your faith will not work. In Genesis 15:2-6, Abram as he was known before God changed his name could not see himself having a child until God gave him hope through his Word and also changed his inner picture, “Then he took him outside and said, "Look at the sky. Count the stars. Can you do it? Count your descendants! You're going to have a big family, Abram!" And he believed! Believed God! God declared him "Set-Right-with-God."
Genesis 15:5-6 (MSG).

Notice that Abram found it easier to believe God and have faith when he could see within himself the future God had for him. What is the imagination you are carrying in your heart? Have you imagined what your future will be like? Have you imagined what your marriage and business will be like? Until you change the inner picture of your future and have hope, faith has nothing to give substance to.

Confession.
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that all things are working together for my good. I am moving upward and forward. The lines are falling for me in pleasant places, I have a goodly heritage, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

A BETTER ENDING

Dearly Beloved,

Greetings in the Matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have received the commission to raise a people who embrace, embody and exemplify the Vision, the Virtues and the Values of Jesus and the Apostles.

It gives me great pleasure to write you this letter. We have entered a new season, a time of divine closure. God the Father is bringing closure to seasons of pain, oppression and afflictions. He is ending cycles of generational curses. See Psalm 126:1-4 ESV.

Nahum 1:9 KJV
What do ye imagine against the Lord?
he will make an utter end:
affliction shall not rise up the second time.

God is going to disappoint all your mockers and all your haters. Those who are waiting to see you cry, will see you laugh. Those are watching to see you fail, will see you succeed. Those who are discussing your pain and mistakes, will see you thrive. Hallelujah!!! It’s a new day. Get ready for a dramatic irreversible change of story.

Isaiah 43:18-19 KJV
Remember ye not the former things,
neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing;
now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?
I will even make a way in the wilderness,
and rivers in the desert.

God is doing a new thing. You have never had it like this before. No, never. It’s an entirely new season. You will experience new strength, new zeal, fresh passion and greater focus.

You are entering a time when it will be obvious that you are being helped by the hand of God because what many consider impossible and unachievable will be done suddenly and cheaply. We are in a time of divine lifting. You will stand in awe of the great things that are set to happen in your life.

Get ready for an upgrade. God is taking you to a new level. One season is ending and another is starting. Stop discussing the pain and mistakes of the past, God has brought a close to that season. “The Egyptians which you see today, you shall see them no more.”

God will upturn mountains and dry up seas before you. He beat down hills and raise up valleys before you. He will make the crooked places (where you used to have difficulty) straight and the rough places (where you used to have challenges) plain. See Isaiah 41:10-16.

Isaiah 45:1-3 KJV
Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus,
whose right hand I have holden,
to subdue nations before him;
and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates;
and the gates shall not be shut;
I will go before thee,
and make the crooked places straight:
I will break in pieces the gates of brass,
and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
And I will give thee the treasures of darkness,
and hidden riches of secret places,
that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

God is going ahead of you. Previous limitations will be broken. Old records will be exceeded. This is a God-Season. God is taking over. He is moving you forward. This is a time of the fulfillment of “Joseph’s prophecy.” Those dreams, visions and goals that seem elusive will suddenly come to pass. Those aspirations that you have laid aside, these are the times that they will come to pass. Prophecies that seemed delayed will suddenly come to pass. Hallelujah!!!

Ezekiel 12:21-28 KJV
And the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have about the land of Israel, saying, ‘The days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing’? Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: I will put an end to this proverb, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.’ But say to them, The days are near, and the fulfillment of every vision. For there shall be no more any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. For I am the Lord; I will speak the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord God.”
And the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, ‘The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’ Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.”

You will not be delayed anymore. This is a time dream fulfillment and destiny realization. Goals and targets will be achieved suddenly. This is a time of divine acceleration. Good things will happen quicker and faster than ever. It’s a change of story. Your life is getting better. You are rising higher.

More doors of opportunity will open unto you. More doors of prosperity and increase will open. Big breakthroughs on all sides. God will make you to laugh. It’s a turnaround season. Congratulations!!! Have a fruitful and fulfilling week in Jesus Name, Amen.

Blessings,

DWF

DREAMS DO COME TRUE

As we commemorate the day that we began the ministry as a Campus Fellowship. It behooves me to republish a post I once put out some time ago. My life is an unbroken stream of supernatural involvement. My birth, my childhood and my journey into adulthood. I will explain some other time.

Do dreams come true? Yes they do. Emphatically yes. I remember several years ago when the Lord laid it in my heart that I was going to pioneer a ministry. It seemed impossible, out of reach and incredulous. I asked myself many questions. How was I going to get fresh messages for the people every time I speak throughout my life. I was only seventeen years old. I also thought of the fact that the work of the ministry will require a consistent, open-ended flow of finances. How was I going to get the money for the work. I was unqualified, inadequate and incapable of doing the work. I considered myself unfit for the job. But thanks be unto God who gives us the victory.

The more I walked with God, the more I realized that what I was worrying about was God’s part. He is the One that qualifies the called. He is the One that gives us utterance and fills our hearts and minds with revelation. He is also the Sponsor of His work. He is the One who sends people to help you. He is the One who sends laborers to assist you in doing the work. He is the One that draws people to the Church. He is also the One who keeps them in the work. Hallelujah!

I then realized that Ministry is partnering with God in His redemptive plan. I am simply a co-laborer with God. See 1 Corinthians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 6:1. We are God’s coworkers. Yes we are God’s partners.

In a partnership enterprise, each partner has his own definite tasks and roles to which he is assigned. My role is to give myself to prayer, Study the Word, be godly example, love the brethren etc. For all that I am required to do, it is also God who gives me the grace and the ability to do my work competently, confidently and consistently. Ministry is a God thing. It is God working in you, on you, for you and through you to bless the world. Paul says, “I strive according to His working which worketh in me mightily.” See Colossians 1:29.

All the ability to do God’s work is available to you in the Person of the Holy Spirit. It is by His ability at work in us that we are able to execute or carry out assignments effectively. Hallelujah! He is the Spirit of wisdom. He is the Spirit of grace. He is the Spirit of Holiness. He is the Spirit of love. He is the Spirit of life. He is the Spirit of glory. He is the Spirit of Power. He is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding. He is the Spirit of counsel and might. He is the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. See Isaiah 11:2-3; Zechariah 12:10; Micah 3:8; Romans 1:4; 8:2; 15:13. He is everything we need to do God’s work. As we partner with Him and let Him lead, guide, dominate and influence us, we will notice a great release of spiritual amplitude within us and through us.

By reason of the Holy Spirit within us, our abilities are augmented, our capacity for intelligence is amplified, our love and compassion for others become overwhelming, our boldness increases, our strength for the work is increased. See Romans 5:5; Judges 15:14-15; Exodus 31:1-3; Genesis 41:38-39.

All the Power we need is available in the Person of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! No more failure. All that we need is present in us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. As you yield to Him in obedience and do the Word, you will begin to experience greater success in your work. He will bring the people. He will confirm the Word with signs following. He will touch their hearts to respond. He will heal the sick through you and set the captives free.

Today almost everything He said we would do, He has done in a VERY BIG WAY. I am humbled that a boy born in Warri, who lived in Warri and studied in Benin could become a success story. It is not I but God who deserves the credit. I was only a willing vessel. I was not from a wealthy family. Neither was I from an influential family. I am simply a boy that God has helped tremendously to influence and impact many. I cannot take credit for anything. It’s all an act of God.

If God has called you. Don’t quit on God. Wait on Him. Let Him build you. Let His Word work on you. Give yourself to prayer. Stay under authority until the time appointed by the Father. Keep obeying the voice of the Spirit. Keep doing the Word and watch God bring what He said to pass one after the other until you come to know Him as the One who knows the end from the beginning, until you come to know Him as Promise keeper. May God help you reach your goals and exceed your targets. Amen

Blessings,

Preserving the Faith of the Fathers For Future Generations

Anniversary Letter:

Be Specific

“And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”
Mark 5:21-23.

Yesterday, you learnt that whatever you are believing God for must be clear and specific for it to come to pass. That is what we see in the request made by Jairus the ruler of the synagogue in our opening scripture when he came to Jesus. He came in faith and was specific about what he wanted. He said, “I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”

You must know that faith will not work until your expectation is specific. If you want your faith to flourish, you must be very definite about what you want from God. This was why God told Habakkuk “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”

It has been said that clarity is one of the most important keys to success. So I encourage you to be very clear about what you want from God in this season.

Ask the Father in faith for whatever you desire.

Faith And Vision

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
Luke 1:37.

From today, I will begin teaching on faith and vision fulfilment because without faith your vision will not be fulfilled.

What is vision? Vision is God's blueprint for your life. It is a revelation of God's plan and purpose for your life. Vision is a revelation of your God-given destiny.

Every genuine vision is humanly impossible but with God nothing shall be impossible. So when we are functioning in faith, we are confident that God will do what He has promised.

In Habakkuk 2:1 the Bible says, “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.”  Notice that this man went to pray so he could hear from God. This is important because without hearing the Word of God there can be no faith. Faith is a product of the Word of God.
Habakkuk 2:2 says, “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” In this verse, the Lord instructed Habakkuk to make the vision plain upon tables. This means that if you are going to fulfil your vision by faith there must be clarity. In other words your vision or whatever you are believing for must be clear and specific.

What are you believing for? What is your vision? Is it clear and specific? Have you written it down in a book? If you have not, that is the first thing you need to do.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for giving me grace for insight and revelation into Your will and Your plan for my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Isaiah 30:8, Habakkuk 2:2 (MSG),

What Is Faith? 4

“For we which have believed do enter into rest …” Hebrews 4:3.

Faith is confident rest in the faithfulness of God. When you are in faith, you are at rest.

Hebrews 11:11 says, “Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.”  Do you have faith in the faithfulness of God?

1 Thessalonians 5:24 says, “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”  The Message Bible says, “The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he'll do it!”

Now that you know God's character, do not doubt His Word any longer. God is completely dependable. If He said it, be rest assured He will do it.

2 Timothy 2:13 (NLT) says, “If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.” Your faith and confidence should be built on the knowledge of the character of God. Titus 1:2 shows us that God cannot lie.

God wants you to rest in your faith in Him concerning the fulfillment of His Word to the point that He took an oath. See how the Bible puts it in Hebrews 6:16-18 (NLT), “Now when people take an oath, they call on someone greater than themselves to hold them to it. And without any question that oath is binding. God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us.”

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness and I ask that You manifest Your power and glory through my life wherever I go, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Deuteronomy 7:9, Psalm 36:5, Isaiah 25:1.
