TWO TYPES OF ANOINTING

Two kinds of Anointing

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”
Acts 1:8 (KJV)

When you are born again, you receive what is called the Priestly anointing. This is the anointing that sanctifies you and consecrates you to the Father.
Secondly when you receive the Holy Spirit you receive the Kingly anointing.
With the understanding these anointing, then you know that when a person just gets born again, the anointing he receives into his life at that moment sanctifies him separates him unto God. He becomes consecrated for a holy purpose.

His life has now been set for God to use him but at this point God may not be able to use him for so much. This is because the anointing you receive as a new convert is for you, it is called the anointing of the well.
John 4:14 says; “But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life”.
The second anointing is the anointing of the river which comes upon you after you have received the Holy Spirit. Rivers bless communities but a well has a little influence. In other words, the more the anointing of God increases in your life, the more influence you would have.
So instead of trying to gain connections, just allow the anointing of the river to increase in your life. It is a grace of God's Spirit. It is important you understand this because in your life, you cannot lead beyond the anointing of God on your life.

CONFESSION
Thank you Father for increased grace and the anointing upon my life, for out of my belly shall flow rivers of living water of the spirit to bring healing and restoration to my world. Amen.
DOING THE WORD
Spend time praying in the Spirit today until the river of God's Spirit overwhelms you and causes your influence to increase in such a way that you become a blessing to your world.
