You are a King and Priest

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever”.
Rev 1:6 (KJV).

There are some people who believe that the kings are the Christians who are in business, and then the Priest are the ministers of the gospel. That is not true. This is because the bible says HE made us Kings and Priests; every one of us; not just Christians who are in business or just ministers of the gospel. He is talking about every child of God; which includes you.

In 1Peter 2:9; “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”.

From the scripture above, we see that we have been made a royal priesthood. That means you are a royal priesthood as well as every child of God. Been a royal priest means that you are a King Priest just like Jesus who is from the linage of Melchizedek. And our priesthood is after the same order like Jesus, it therefore means that we are also Kings and Priest and we are to reign in the earth over the devil, sickness, failure, poverty, and every thing that is inconsistent with our nature in Christ.

CONFESSION

Lord I want to thank you for choosing me out of the world and making me royalty. Today I reign as a King and Priest over satan, failure, poverty and all that is inconsistent with my nature in Christ.

DOING THE WORD

I would like you today to use your authority as a King. Address the areas of your life where you seem to be having challenges and begin to declare what you want to see in that area. Say what you what to see and God would create it for you.
