THE ANOINTING SANCTIFIES YOU
...“And shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office”.
Exodus 28:41 (KJV).
You will notice from the above scripture that the anointing sanctifies you. Therefore we can say that the anointing is the sanctifying influence of the Holy Spirit. The anointing is more than power, it is the sanctifying influence of the Holy Spirit.
This means that the anointing brings sanctification into our lives. Sanctification is the process of being made holy resulting in a changed life-style for the believer. Therefore we can say that because of the anointing in our lives, we have been made holy unto God.
Seeing that we are holy unto the Lord because of the anointing upon our lives, we must therefore separate ourselves from all that defiles.
The bible says that; “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”. 1 Cor 6:11 (KJV).
So live your life with that understanding and let your life continually bring praise and glory to God.
PRAYER
Father I thank you today, that through the sanctifying influence your Spirit, I will live a sanctified life full of virtue and excellence. In Jesus Name. Amen.
DOING THE WORD
I will like you at this point to just look inwards and if there are areas in your life that you are having struggles as a believer just sincerely repent from it and receive grace from the Lord to live above that area of weakness. Declare this: “I entrust myself to the sanctifying influence of the Spirit”.
