Lead by the Anointing

“Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance”?
1 Sam 10:1 (KJV).

Leadership demands an anointing because you cannot lead beyond the anointing on your life. In the opening scripture, the Lord was speaking to King Saul by the prophet Samuel on the day he was anointed King over Israel. Now you can see throughout the Old Testament that God did not make any one King over the children of Israel without first anointing them with oil.

When you are anointed of the Lord to lead His people, you won't have to force people to obey you, the anointing upon your life is what will cause them to comply. That anointing will move the heart of every one under your influence.

“And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched”. 1 Sam 10:26 (KJV).
Notice that also that these men followed Saul not because they just wanted to follow him but because God touched their heart. It is the anointing that moves people. So now begin to expect such results in your life as the anointing increases in your life.

PRAYER
Father thank you for the anointing upon my life, I place a demand on the anointing to produce increase, fruitfulness and a multiplied influence in that which you've called me to do. In Jesus Name. Amen.

DOING THE WORD
Choose not to manipulate people today, but have faith in God's anointing on your life to draw those you need to follow you and favor you willingly.
