The blessing.

“And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”
Deuteronomy 28:2

As we conclude our fast today, I will like to tell you a story about a dear minister of God in this country; who has been used by God to touch many lives in this nation. Before he got to where he is today, he had to submit to God's program.

He was in Kaduna, when God spoke to him to go and see another minister of the gospel who was at that time in Benin. He hesitated at first saying, he has heard too many bad things about that minister, but God insisted that he goes to see that minister of God, so he went. As he went, he took a seed of about thirty thousand naira with him. When he brought the money, the minster told him to pour the money on the ground and he did. Then, he told him to walk on the money as they lay on the floor. As he did, the minister gave a word to him saying that, “From today, this is the way you will be walking on money all your life.” And certainly of a truth today, many years after that encounter. This minister of God is presently living in wealth. Why? He humbled himself; submitted to God's plan by obeying divine instruction. By so doing, he is living today in the centre of God's plan for his life. I want you to know today as well that as many of you who have consistently fasted along with us in this month.

 You have indeed entered into God's rest for your life because, you submitted to God's will by deciding to fast when you would have chosen not to. But you chose to obey the divine instruction that went forth. As you have done this:
May you continue to live under an open heaven. May God's grace and His favor bring to you blessings and increase that will cause your store houses to run over with plenty. All your days of mourning and weeping are ended in the Name of Jesus. Only shouts of praise and rejoicing shall be heard in your home from this time and always. Divine protection and increase is yours in the Name of Jesus. May God announce you and give you supernatural publicity in all that you do. You are blessed. Your memory is blessed, your health is blessed, your children and every member of your family are blessed. You are far from all evil, including wicked and unreasonable men in the Name of Jesus.
May God grant you fresh revelations from the Word of God like never before. No weapon formed against you shall prosper in the Name of Jesus. May God's wisdom function mightily in you and distinguish you from your peers in the Name of Jesus.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May he cause His face to shine upon you. May He be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you, and may He give you peace.
