Guard your Heart

“When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart.” Matthew 13:19(KJV)

Today, I want you to notice from our opening scripture, that satan is always after the Word of God. He always wants to steal the Word of God that has been sown into your heart. It could be the Word that God has spoken to you, concerning this year, and the great things He will do in your life this year.

You must continually guard that Word in your heart. Do not allow any form of unbelief into your heart. How do you know unbelief is beginning to come into your heart? You know unbelief is beginning to creep into your heart, when you discover that you are beginning to question the integrity of the Word of God.

The Bible says in Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” So, one thing that you must do for yourself this new year, is to set up a guard over your heart. Therefore, any word, circumstance, feeling, news or person, that wants to make you question the Word of God must not be allowed into your heart.

Maintain your faith and focus on God's rhema Word to you this year, and turn your focus away from every contradicting distraction. I want you to know that every contradiction is only a mirage. It will surely change to conform to the Word that God has already given to you this year, if only you will maintain your confessions of faith. God creates the fruit of the lips. See Isaiah 57:19.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:12(AMP), “Fight the good fight of the faith. lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.”

CONFESSION
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the Word of God is fruitful and productive in my life, in my ministry, in my family, in my job, in my finances, in my health and all that has to do with me in Jesus Name.

DOING THE WORD
Maintain your good confessions, no matter the contradiction.
