No disadvantage.

Sunday, December 11th.
No disadvantage.

“There was a famine in the land, as bad as the famine during the time of Abraham. And Isaac went down to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar. GOD appeared to him and said, "Don't go down to Egypt; stay where I tell you. Stay here in this land and I'll be with you and bless you.”
Genesis 26:1-3 (MSG)

Today, I want you to be conscious of what the blessing can do in your life as a child of God. It does not matter where you work, where you live, or how unpleasant the economic situation is in the country where you are, as long as that is where God wants you to be, the blessing will cause you to thrive and prosper inspite of the physical conditions.

This is your heritage as a child of God because just as Isaac was so are you. (See Galatians 4:28) God instructed Isaac to stay in a land where there was famine when he was planning to relocate, and as he obeyed and stayed in that land, God blessed him and he prospered. The Bible says, “Then Isaac sowed seed in that land and received in the same year a hundred times as much as he had planted, and the Lord favored him with blessings. And the man became great and gained more and more until he became very wealthy and distinguished; He owned flocks, herds, and a great supply of servants, and the Philistines envied him.” Genesis 26:12-14(AMP).

The blessing thrives in difficult places. That is why for you as a child of God, there is no difficult place; because if the place is difficult the blessing will cause you to shine more. That is when it becomes obvious that you are really blessed. Therefore, if where you are right now looks unfavourable and difficult, it will be your place of favour because the blessing is on you.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I thank you because I am blessed; I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; my leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever I do shall prosper, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
