Go for knowledge

Go for knowledge.
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge …”
Hosea 4:6

Ignorance is weakness. Knowledge is strength. The Bible also says in Proverbs 24:5, “A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.” There is a strength that is imparted into you when you have knowledge. That strength is called confidence this confidence produces in you a firm assurance or conviction in these truths that have been revealed to you from the word of God.

This is important because we can only enjoy our God-given authority over the cohorts of hell when we have a revelation of who Jesus really is. When we know Him, then we will understand the power we have in His Name.

Paul the Apostle praying for the Ephesian Church in Ephesians 1:17(GW) prayed, “I pray that the glorious Father, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know Christ better.” Why did Paul pray for them in this way? He did because of what the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Christ better will do for them and every child of God as revealed in Ephesians 1:18-23(GW), “Then you will have deeper insight. You will know the confidence that he calls you to have and the glorious wealth that God's people will inherit. You will also know the unlimited greatness of his power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers. He worked with that same power in Christ when he brought him back to life and gave him the highest position in heaven. He is far above all rulers, authorities, powers, lords, and all other names that can be named, not only in this present world but also in the world to come. God has put everything under the control of Christ. He has made Christ the head of everything for the good of the church. The church is Christ's body and completes him as he fills everything in every way.”
Therefore, I encourage you to pray Ephesians 1:17 for yourself everyday because as you do, you would have the revelation of Christ. In other words, you would have an accurate, full, specific and precise knowledge of Christ.

Prayer.
Dear Father, I ask for a release of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you, that the eyes of my understanding may be enlightened, that I may know what is the hope of Your calling, and what is the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
