Don't be Slack, be diligent

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”
Proverbs 10:4(KJV)

Our opening scripture shows us that poverty is a choice. Therefore if you are one of those who do not like to work, you just want to be idle, you are dealing with a slack hand. If you are careless with your work and you do not pay attention to details when working, you are dealing with a slack hand. That is journeying on the road to poverty.

If you refuse to develop yourself and improve in what you do, or to put new features in your product to make it better and more competitive, you are dealing with a slack hand. Also, if you are lazy, negligent, sloppy or slow in your work, you are dealing with a slack hand.

The Bible says anyone who works with a slack hand will be poor. It is a law. Therefore, if you are not increasing in wisdom, to begin to deal diligently in your work, no matter how much you pray to God to get to the top, you will not get there. It is not because you are cursed, but the scripture cannot be broken.

The scripture says that the hand of the diligent makes rich. So if you want to be rich, wisdom shows you how. He tells you to be diligent.

So don't just be praying to go up without preparing to go up. For instance, I found out that billionaires read two books a week.

Also in the kingdom of God, those who have stood the test of time and are used mightily of God are diligent. To mention a few, Oral Roberts was reading four books a week. Bishop Oyedepo reads four books a week. While the average Pastor reads one book a month. They cannot produce the same results with their lives.

I encourage you, go for wisdom and diligence, you will not only become rich, but you will stand before kings because the scriptures cannot be broken.

PRAYER
Dear Father I repent from every form of slackness in any area of my life and in my job. Today I receive grace for diligence and wisdom for increased productivity and promotion in what I do in Jesus Name. Amen.
