“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto
him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12
Today I want you to understand that God’s vision for your
life unlocks your potential. Gideon did not know his potential and value until
God’s vision and purpose for his life was made known to him. Judges 6:14
revealed to Gideon God’s plan and purpose for his life, the Bible says, “And
the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save
Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”
Gideon didn’t know that he had the potential to save the
nation of Israel from the Midianites until he knew God’s vision for his life.
Judges 6:16 says, “And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and
thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.”
God’s vision for your life reveals your purpose. Your
purpose is the why of your existence; it reveals why you were born and what God
has made you for. Therefore, when you discover what God has made you for, it is
a discovery of what God has already empowered you to do. Your purpose reveals
your ability and your potential.
Prayer: Dear Father I thank you for I am strengthened by
your Spirit to be all that you have made me to be, to do all that you have
called me to do and to have everything you have ordained for me to have in
Jesus Name. Amen.
