Understanding the new creation 2

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."

2 Corinthians 5:16

From our opening scripture, we see that the man in Christ has lost all his affiliations to the flesh. Therefore, as a Christian, if you are Yoruba, Ibo or Izon, it is your flesh that is Yoruba, Ibo or Izon. Your spirit which is the real you has no tribe just as it has no gender.

Galatians 3:26-28 says, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Now that you are a Christian, you have put on Christ. There is no longer Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa or Izon. The Bible says we are all one in Christ Jesus.

When we get to heaven as Christians we will all speak one language, the language of Christ. There is no Yoruba or Ibo side of heaven. Because of this, the Bible says to us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." It is important you understand that the day you were born again, a new creature was born that has no link to your past. This new creature has all the virtues and potentials of Christ in him. He does not have the capacity to fail. He was born to succeed.

As a new creature, no matter what comes against you, say like the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:37, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." Renew your mind to this understanding of who you are as a new creature. That is the key to your consistent victory in Christ.

Confession.

In the Name of Jesus, I declare that I am in Christ. I am a new creation, my old moral and spiritual condition has passed away. Behold, I live and walk in the newness of life. Amen!
