Faithful with your money.

"The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute."

Proverbs 12:24

Have you been diligent in your finances? Can you give an account of your finances? If I should ask you how much money came into your hands last month in addition to your salary, will you be able to tell me the exact amount? There are those who will not be able to give the accurate figures because they have no records of their finances. They just spend money without any accounting.

Most of the wealthiest men in the world, Christians or non-Christians alike keep their personal books of account. Do you have yours? If you do not have one, then it means that you are not getting yourself ready to go that far in your finances.

Financial accountability is important if you are preparing for your wealthy place. Faithfulness in your personal accounting is one of the ways you can actually get your finances in order. It helps you to be able to account for every money you receive. It helps you to identify where you have a shortfall and areas where you need to stop impulsive spending to make up for the short fall.

God wants you to be diligent in your finances so that He can entrust you with more. As God increases you financially, He expects you to be prudent, faithful and diligent in the way you manage your finances.

Instruction.

I encourage you to start recording your personal finances.

Doing the Word

Be faithful in your personal accounting. You can create different columns under which you record your expenses for easy reconciliation and analysis of your account at the end of the week or month.
